[Mt. Zao Observation Platform]
Enjoy Tahara City's beautiful nature and night view
Located at the top of Mt. Zao, the Observation Platform offers a 360-degree panoramic view of Mikawa Bay, Chita Peninsula, Cape Irago, and the Pacific Ocean. The facility includes a floor where visitors can learn about the seasonal changes and culture of Tahara City through hands-on experiences. There is also a hiking course up to the observation deck on the 4th floor, 250 meters above ground. It takes about 50 minutes to get all the way up. At night, the Observation Platform is lit up with illuminations that change with the seasons. The magical atmosphere is like walking among the stars. Zao Panorama Café serves a wide variety of dishes using local Tahara ingredients.
