Produced only by four certified farmers in Shinshiro City, the luxury Horai beef is a gem of expert cattle raising techniques and a rich and natural environment. The sweet, juicy, marbled meat is of high quality, and packed with flavor. Kontaku Nagashino in Shinshiro City is one of the few restaurants that serves this Horai beef. Choose from a wide variety of cuts and à la carte dishes, and savor the rich flavors of the beef. The restaurant is run by JA—the country's agricultural cooperative—and the reasonable prices are another perk. On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, you can also find casual set meals including "Horai Beef Katsu Curry".
