Visit the main hall and receive a famous sermon

Ganfuji Temple is an ancient Shingon-sect temple famous for its Nishiura Fudo, which is believed to have the power to ward off evil and cure cancer. In the precincts, there are many wooden plaques which have been dedicated by people from all over Japan to pray for their cancers to be cured. In the main hall, free sermons to prevent cancer (approx. 10 minutes long) are held every day, which makes for a unique and popular attraction among visitors. There is also a rare opportunity to walk through a dark cave to worship Buddhist statues, on the "Senbutsudo meguri" (free of charge). So, why not take in the famous sermon and offer a prayer for your own health and happiness?
