Scenery born out of the contrast between a sandy beach and sea cliffs

The sea of Enshunada, the blue sky, the white sands of the beach and a sea cliff pressing down on the coastline. "Omotehama", where magnificent natural scenery stretches some 50 kilometers from Cape Irago to Lake Hamana. "Ikobe Beach" is a part of this long stretch of scenery, and is a popular surfing and fishing spot. On a clear day, visitors can see as far as Hamana Ohashi to the east and Tahara to the west.

Access Take the Toyohashi Railroad Atsumi Line from "Toyohashi Station" of JR Tokaido Shinkansen for approx. 21 minutes, alight at “Oshimizu Station", and take a taxi for approx. 15 minutes.
