Horse mackerel, hairtail, whitebait, sakura shrimp.... Irifune Sushi is a long-established sushi restaurant selling local fish

It is an old sushi restaurant offering seasonal seafood captured in Suruga Bay, established in 1912. Their popular "Shizuoka Nigiri" is a special dish including 10 sushi with the best toppings of the day, and Japanese rolled omelette. It is a great place to enjoy Shizuoka's specialties like horse mackerel, whitebait, and sakura shrimp. Various side dishes are also offered, including sashimi, grilled fish, fries, "Tuna Negimayaki", "Sakura Shrimp Kakiage" and stone-roasted Kagoshima beef steak, which is an unexpected dish for Shizuoka. Shizuoka's local sakes such as "Kaiun", "Shosetsu", "Isojiman", etc. are also in good supply.
