[Yaizu Sakana Center]
About 70 specialty stores are gathered all in one place at this giant, fun fish market with shopping and food

In "Maguro Kaidou", an area with a selection of tuna specialty shops, cuts of southern bluefin tuna are lined up in rows, and you can also find rare parts like eyeballs, heads, and hearts. This place is full of must-try local specialty foods, including namaribushi (boiled and half-dried bonito), kurohanpen (black fish cake), shirasu (whitebait), sakura shrimp, fresh catches from Suruga Bay, and home-made dried fish.
