Satta Pass | Japan Highlights Travel, for sightseeing around Tokaido

Shizuoka Station

[Satta Pass]

A scenic location depicted in ukiyo-e

Take in the landscape of Mt. Fuji and Suruga Bay depicted in Hiroshige Utagawa’s ukiyo-e "The Fifty-three Stages of the Tokaido: Yui”. From the observation deck, you can see Satta Pass before you, blue Suruga Bay on the right, and the gentle ridgeline of Mt. Fuji. A view just like an ukiyo-e spreads across the land, even in these modern times. A famous spot along the Tokaido for admiring majestic Mt. Fuji; people have been drawn here since long ago, and are still drawn here now. There is also a hiking course, so you can take a walk while enjoying the scenery.
