A popular public park of Sunpu Castle ruins where Ieyasu Tokugawa, who opened the Edo Shogunate, spent his late years after retirement. In the large park surrounded by a moat, the "Higashigomon, Tatsumi Yagura, and Hitsuji-saru Yagura" are reconstructed, and at the "Momijiyama Garden", a Japanese garden with a tea house, powdered or non-powdered green tea can be enjoyed in a relaxing atmosphere where scenery changes with season.
