Connects Nihondaira and the summit of Mt. Kuno

A ropeway that connects Nihondaira, a famous scenic spot with a spectacular view of Suruga Bay below Mt. Fuji and Kuno-zan Toshogu Shrine that enshrines Ieyasu Tokugawa in approx. five minutes. The gondola's design based on the image of a palanquin for lords and princesses. The scenery of Byobu-dani, a line of sheer cliffs, and Jigoku-dani can be observed. From the top of Nihondaira at an altitude of 307 meters, you can also enjoy the view of Mihonomatsubara and Suruga Bay, with a magnificent view of Mt. Fuji on a clear day.

Access Take the Shizutetsu Justline Bus bound for Nihondaira Ropeway from “Shizuoka Station” of JR Tokaido Shinkansen for approx. 40 minutes and alight at the final station.
