Specialty that travelers of the Tokaido enjoyed
A specialty at Mariko, the 20th post town on Tokaido, the restaurant still has the same atmosphere of the tea house drawn in Hiroshige's Ukiyoe, and offers "tororojiru", made by mixing grated wild yam with miso soup made from homemade miso, and fish bouillon. Enjoy the scenery and food that has been passed down unchanged for over 400 years.
