Osanbashi Yokohama International Passenger Terminal | Japan Highlights Travel, for sightseeing around Tokaido

Shin-Yokohama Station

[Osanbashi Yokohama International Passenger Terminal]

The gateway to Yokohama Port, where large cruise ships from all over the world make a stop

Osanbashi Yokohama is an international terminal where not only domestic, but also international cruise ships traveling all over the world make a stop. It is a huge facility where two “Asuka II”-size ships are able to come alongside the pier at the same time. The exterior has an appearance that recalls the swell of the ocean, and a massive area with no pillars fills the second floor. A lawn covers the rooftop square, which also has a wood deck finish that recalls the deck of a ship; it's like a garden floating in the sea. Visitors can enjoy 360-degree views of Yokohama Port 24 hours a day.
