Shin-Osaka Station

[Miyoshiya]

A charming restaurant notable for its owner's personality and Curry Udon where you can chose the spiciness

In the middle of the udon battlefield that is Namba, there is a famous restaurant to which even local residents give their stamp of approval. The restaurant is not only particular about the ingredients, but also about the way the homemade noodles are boiled and washed, which gives them a smooth and firm texture. The most popular dish is the Curry Udon with its spiciness selectable from six levels from mild to super hot (an extra charge applies for some). The only toppings are deep fried tofu and spring onion, allowing you simply to taste the noodles and curry broth. Another reason why this shop is so popular is because of the owner with the charming smile, just like in the picture on the shop's sign. With any luck, you'll meet him in the shop! Udon-making workshops (Reservation and additional fee required) are held regularly.
