Kyukamura Fuji | Japan Highlights Travel, for sightseeing around Tokaido

Shin-Fuji Station

[Kyukamura Fuji]

Magnificent view of Mt. Fuji from the bath, all to yourself

Needless to say, the greatest attraction of this hotel is Mt. Fuji, in the western foothills of which the hotel stands, on the shore of Lake Tanuki. Viewing Mt. Fuji from the hot spring is luxury almost to the point of extravagance. Gazing upon the grandeur of Mt. Fuji while wallowing the waters of the hotel's Lake Tanuki Onsen "Fujisan Megumi-no-Yu" will surely be one of the rarest experiences of your life. If you are lucky, you might even see an upside-down Mt. Fuji reflected in the water of the hot spring. Beware, though: Mt. Fuji can only be seen when it's in a good mood. Choose a sunny day to visit!
