Odawara Station
[Hakone Manju (Kikukawa Shoten)]
Taste the famous manju on a stroll in front of the station
Kikukawa Shoten is located in front of Hakone-Yumoto Station, amid a row of souvenir shops. Their specialty "Hakone Manju" is sponge cake filled with sweet white bean paste to form a Western-style manju. "Hakone Manju" can be purchased in quantities from 1 piece and more, and they say that a freshly-made "Hakone Manju", crispy on the outside with a sweet aroma, is even more delicious eaten on the spot. You can see working automatic confectionery machines through the glass window for a mini factory tour feel. Sublime happiness with a palm-sized sweet as you browse for souvenirs.
