A museum that teaches about the preciousness of the earth and life

This museum of natural history features easy-to-understand displays that introduce the history of the earth stretching back 4.6 billion years by using real specimens including small insects and dinosaur bones. Get a sense of the wonders of nature and the importance of co-existence through the permanent exhibitions, the Jumbo Book Exhibition featuring loads of 3-D encyclopedias, and the SEISA Museum Theater with its 200-inch large screen, etc. Various special exhibitions and temporary exhibitions are also put on.

* Additional admission fee (100 yen to 200 yen) is required for special exhibitions.
Access Take the Hakone Tozan Railway from "Odawara Station" of JR Tokaido Shinkansen for approx. 10 minutes, alight at "Iriuda Station" and walk for approx. 3 minutes.
