Let's enjoy observing and making kamaboko together with the craftsmen
It is said that Odawara flourished in manufacturing kamaboko because of the abundance of quality groundwater. Suzuhiro's kamaboko in particular is carefully made with fresh fish and natural ingredients without using preservatives or chemical seasonings. You can observe the skills of dedicated craftsmen and enjoy making kamaboko yourself at the Kamaboko and Chikuwa Cooking Class (reservation and additional fee required), and there is a "Kamaboko Bar" where you can taste test and compare kamaboko made from different fishes or recipes.
