[Ebi Senbei no Sato (Mihama Main Store)]
Prawn crackers sold directly from the factory make a great souvenir
The Chita Peninsula is famous for its fresh seafood, including prawns. Ebi Senbei no Sato not only sells ebi senbei prawn crackers, it offers visitors free coffee and tea as they taste-test different varieties of ebi senbei. It's easy to lose track of time! Visitors can also try their hand at making their own 30-odd-centimeter ebi senbei. (300 yen per cracker.) Use sauce or soy sauce to draw your own picture on the ebi senbei, dry it, and voilà! Your original ebi senbei is complete! You can eat it at the store or take it home.
