Cosplayers converging on Nagoya from more than 30 countries around world

Every year since it began in 2003, this cosplayers' festival has seen more and more people gather from all over the world to be a part of it. Besides events are held including the parade through Osu Shopping District, the festival also includes a championship in which high-level cosplayers bring to life characters from Japanese manga and anime, and the very worlds they inhabit, and compete to find out who is the best cosplayer in the world. The festival is by cosplayers, for cosplayers. Of course, there's plenty of fun to be had just by going along and looking at all the great cosplay on display...but there's even more to be had if you take part.2018 will mark its 16th year.
