[Shuzenji Nijino Sato]
Enjoy the autumn foliage of about 2,000 trees in this amusement park
With a Japanese-style garden, a large play area, hands-on workshop programs, steam locomotives running through the park, and zones modeled after townscapes in the U.K. and Canada, Shuzenji Nijino Sato is a popular spot in the Shuzenji area where you can enjoy the abundant nature however your heart desires. The park also features a forest of maple trees in the extensive premises. The leaves of about 2,000 trees of Japanese and Western origins—including Japanese maples planted in the Japanese Garden and Takumi Village, and bald cypresses and American sweetgums in the Canadian Village and Fairy Garden—turn to yellow and red in fall, capturing the eyes of the visitors with their colorful autumn glow. From mid-November, the maple forest is lit up for a limited period of time.
Sit back and enjoy the autumn foliage on the Romney Railway running through the park
