[Nirayama Ichigogari Center (Benihoppe strawberries)]
Pick sweet, in-season, mouth-watering strawberries until time runs out
The Benihoppe strawberry, distinguished by its mild sourness and rich sweetness, is grown in Shizuoka. Here, in this "pick-your-own" farm surrounded by bountiful nature, you can enjoy picking Benihoppe strawberries in their best season, winter to spring. With a cup of condensed milk in one hand, look carefully for firm and shiny strawberries and relish the fresh flavor of the ripe fruit to your heart's content. These days, a lot of three-generation families visit the center together. It is rising in popularity as an event that people from all generations can enjoy. There also are shops inside the farm that sell foods like strawberry daifuku and strawberry jam as well as goods featuring strawberry designs.
