Izu's specialties gathered all in one place! Take the freshest vegetables and fish home with you
Izu Muranoeki is a food theme park that gathers all of Izu's prized local specialties into one location. The vegetables in the produce stands are directly delivered from the morning harvest by the local farmers, and the fresh fish and shellfish landed at ports in Izu, including Numazu Port, line the fish store. What's more, the facility hosts a wide variety of stores! You can find eggs, fish, tea, rice, and tofu specialty stores, a bakery famous for its white bread which uses water from Mt. Fuji, a restaurant which uses local produce, a rice bowl specialty store—"Maguro Dojo"—which tops its don bowls with a mountain of Izu seafood, and more. The place is a hot spot for visitors.
