[Okazaki City Higashi Park]
A great place to enjoy autumn foliage, with some 1,500 maple trees
In this vast park, people enjoy the natural beauty and learn about the city's culture. The park offers scenery that is beautiful in any season. In autumn in particular, around 1,500 maple trees turn fiery red, captivating many. In the autumn foliage season, the area around Ashinobe Pond is illuminated, and the lights reflected in the water's surface are truly fantastic. Take a leisurely stroll on the promenade around the pond. The park is also home to a zoo, a square with dinosaur monuments, and the residence of the former feudal lord of the Okazaki Domain. They are all free of charge.
Why not take a walk while looking up at the autumn foliage spreading over the promenade?
