"Kyukyoku no Pekinhan", a local specialty rice bowl dish, loved by the people of Anjo city
Pekin Honten is an old Chinese restaurant with more than 50 years of history. For three-generations, the chefs have passed down its traditional tastes. The specialty of this restaurant is "Kyukyoku no Pekinhan", rice topped with fluffy scrambled fresh egg with sweet-salty sauce and deep-fried top-class Mikawa Pork. It is said that the dish was originally a meal for the restaurant's staff, but was offered to customers later as it was so delicious.
