Popular for its peaceful environment full of nature and easily accessible play areas
Located in Anjo City, which was once called the "Denmark of Japan", the themes of Horiuchi Park are flowers, greenery, and fairly tales. The huge park, stretching approx. 5.9 hectares, has a pond surrounded by flowers and greenery, open lawns, a bird house, and much more. This is a perfect place to have a stroll and enjoy the peaceful environment full of nature. Popular attractions include a ferris wheel, a merry-go-round, and an electric train named Märchen, all of which are available for nominal fees of 50 to 100 yen. There are also free-of-charge attractions such as a giant slide made of grass and a "spongy dome", a squishy mound that is fun to walk on.
