[Hikone Mihori no Ya]
A sweets shop filled with sweets that add color to the four seasons
Hikone Mihori no Ya is a building home to many sweets shops and cafes. On the first floor, you can find sweets from the Japanese confectionery Taneya and from the bakery Club Harie. The sweets are all made with high-quality ingredients and have an elegant taste. Mihori Chaya, a Japanese-style tea house where you can enjoy charcoal-grilled mochi, Japanese sweets, and meals, is located on the second floor, along with Mihori Cafe, which serves afternoon tea and seasonal cakes. There’s even an art museum that exhibits works of Koto-yaki fine ceramics.
