Enjoy a variety of sweets made with local ingredients

This confectionery makes and sells Japanese- and Western-style sweets prepared with a preference for local ingredients. The sweets on offer include the "Takoman", from which the shop takes its name—a sweet snack made from smooth, subtly sweet red bean paste tenderly wrapped in a cake-like exterior—and the fluffy sandwich pastry "Daisakyu", which has been loved for more than 40 years. Takoman has 17 stores in western Shizuoka Prefecture (the Enshu area). In their Kakegawa shop, visitors will find a workshop and an eat-in space where they can taste the freshly made sweets.
