[Fukuroi Enshu Fireworks All Japan Fireworks Master's Invitational Competition]
A truly gorgeous fireworks show combining craftsmanship and state-of-the-art technology
The Fukuroi Enshu Fireworks show is one of the largest fireworks festivals in Japan, where some 25 thousand fireworks in total are set off. It coincides with a fireworks competition where fireworks masters selected from all over Japan engage in a contest of skill and artistry. In 2018, roughly 40 thousand people came to watch. The festival is full of highlights that add excitement to the event. The fireworks show “Largest Melody Starmine in Japan” fuses music and fireworks. “Niagara in the Sky: The Great Fuji Falls” features color-changing fireworks shaped like Mt. Fuji. With “Japan's No. 1 Jumbo Wide Starmine,” a row of fireworks stretching roughly 300 meters shakes the whole venue.
