Cosmetics giant Shiseido's art museum resonates through the heart

As a part of cosmetics company Shiseido's activities to support culture and the arts, Shiseido Art House collects and exhibits excellent modern and contemporary paintings, sculptures, and handicrafts. Many of these works have been exhibited at the Tsubakikai Exhibition, which has been held at the Shiseido Gallery in Ginza, Tokyo. Enrich yourself with the selection of artwork, which displays the impressive aesthetic sense of a company that seeks beauty. The building, designed by Shinsuke Takamiya and Yoshi Taniguchi, is a work of art itself, and in 1979, it won the AIJ Prize from the Architectural Institute of Japan. Furthermore, the Shiseido Art House received the Shizuoka Cultural Encouragement Prize in 2014 for its many years of activities. Also, on the same grounds stands the Shiseido Corporate Museum. This museum offers an insight into the history of Shiseido as a company through items like product packages and advertisements.
