Let's go on a factory tour of "Unagipie Pastry"; a snack for the night!
Shunkado's Unagipie Pastry is Hamamatsu's signature snack. Unagipie Pastry consists of about 9,000 pie layers, and it has been made by the hands of Unagipie artisans ever since it was first made in 1961. With its aroma of butter and crispy texture, Unagipie Pastry is so scrumptious that you can't resist having another one. The Unagipie Factory is where you can see the manufacturing process involved in Unagipie Pastry. The factory tour takes you through the refined manufacturing process; from baking and wrapping, through to packing in the box. You will also find an adjacent shop and cafe where you can enjoy original desserts.
