[iZoo Hands-on Zoo]
Iguanas, snakes, alligators, and more! See them, touch them, and rediscover their cuteness!
iZoo is a hands-on zoo specializing in reptiles and amphibians. It keeps a number of rare animals from around the world, including endangered iguanas and Galápagos tortoises. The zoo also has open displays with no cages or fences, where you can touch and see the animals almost as they would be in the wild. Popular attractions include feeding and taking photos with huge snakes and giant tortoises (fee required). Even if you're usually scared of them, you won't be able to help smiling when you see their cute movements and watch them eating. iZoo's sister zoo, KawaZoo Hands-on Frog Zoo, opened in 2018. Check that one out, too!
Children who weigh 30 kg or less can also ride on the back of a giant tortoise and get their picture taken!
Upper left: Adults and children alike love feeding the animals, because it means getting to observe them up close, upper right: How about a photo with a huge python? Bottom: You can see veiled chameleons (photo) and many other rare chameleons.
