A carpet of charming yellow daylilies dancing in the sea breeze
Eroded by the ocean, Irozaki Cape has a rugged coastline of exposed rock. Located on the gentle hills on the western side of the cape is Yusuge Park, renowned home to a vast colony of yellow daylilies. The best season for seeing the flowers is from late June to mid-August. They bloom from evening until the next morning. The charming yellow flowers dancing gently in the sea breeze are loved by many people as Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park's designated plant. There is also a lookout spot called Aiai Misaki just a few minutes' walk from the park. Why not take a walk in spectacular nature while admiring a beautiful sunset?
Irozaki Cape is a famous scenic location for beautiful sunsets.
