Illuminations of refined "champagne gold" color
Naka-dori, Marunouchi lined with luxury brand shops, and Naka-dori, Otemachi crammed with business offices and eateries. Marunouchi's streets with their high-end atmosphere are illuminated in an original "champagne gold" color with about 1.03 million LED light bulbs for roughly three months during winter. Eco illumination lights with a 65% reduction in electricity have been used since 2010, and since 2014, new eco illumination lights which reduce electricity consumption by a further 30% have been partly adopted. In 2016, the illuminations were designated as a "Night View Inheritance of Japan" by a civil organization. Experience the brilliant sparkles of the eco-friendly illuminations.
