Tokyo Station, Shinagawa Station
[Ueno Onshi Park]
Crowded with hanami parties, as it was in the Edo period
A well-known sakura destination since the Edo period. There are about 800 sakura trees within the park. A hanami party is probably the greatest fun anyone can have in the park. There is a resting area along the sakura path where you can eat and drink while viewing the sakura, and lively parties are held here and there within the park. After the party, take pleasure in viewing the yozakura (night sakura) that shine under the street lights.
