Shin-Yokohama Station

[Yokohama Zoo Zoorasia]

A zoo where you can experience distinctive features of different environments and regions of the world

In April 2015, the African Savanna exhibit opened fully, where herbivores and carnivores are on show together in a grassland area, with safety ensured. The zoo is categorized into 8 global climatic zones, and offers an experience that's like traveling around the world on the trail of the animals. You can see various lively animals, including the okapi, known as a living fossil that has beautiful stripes on its legs.
