Take a break from city sightseeing in a historic building

Odawara Shuku Nariwai Koryu-kan was originally an old net wholesaler. It was rebuilt in 1932 after being damaged in the Great Kanto earthquake of 1923, and has since been renovated and turned into a place for people to stop and have a rest. The building's construction follows a typical design for merchant houses in Odawara called "dashigeta-zukuri". Inside the facility, you can sit down and have a rest and also get some sightseeing information. On the second and fourth Sundays of every month, there are try-it-yourself experience workshops where you can make an Odawara lantern. (Additional fee required.)
