[SKE48 Theater]

Powerful performances by members with strong ties to the region

SKE48, based in the Sakae district of Nagoya, was the first step in the nationwide expansion of idol group AKB48, whose base of activity is in Akihabara, Tokyo. SKE48's exclusive theater is on the 2nd floor of SUNSHINE SAKAE, which with its Ferris wheel is one of the Sakae district's most prominent landmarks. The performances let the audience watch the members sing and dance right before their eyes, and the fun time passes all too quickly as artists and spectators get wrapped up together in a powerful feeling of unity. The 5th floor has a gift shop and a cafe which serves meals related to the group's members.
