An expanse of sand dunes that expands approximately 4 km in an east-west direction and 600 m from north to south. Sand is the only thing there, yet you will be amazed at the way it changes its face every moment. The rippled designs made on the sand by the wind are called "fumon", and through it the normally unseen presence of the wind is made visible. The undulation of the dunes is very slight, so you can easily walk on the fine white sand. Stand on the shore of Enshunada and enjoy fumon that never show the same face twice, while listening to the sound of the waves.
※ Views like the one shown in the photo can only be seen under certain conditions (time of day, weather etc.).
Fumon designs mainly appear in the winter when a strong west wind blows. We recommended visiting on a sunny day with a strong wind, or on the following day. This place is also famous for the spawning of loggerhead turtles. If you're lucky, you might see them spawning from early summer to autumn. A magnificent sight can be enjoyed when the sun sets and the sand is stained orange and red.
